the feed bin's aim is to help clients to save time and money, whilst providing the best for their animals & pets.
the feed bin offers all types of animal / bird feeds and sundries to a wide variety of clients throughout the local area. the feed bin's offers a range of well known branded products and some lesser known ones, which are intended to suit any budget and need
the feed bin, which is based from two home addresses in Stopsley, Luton, LU2 is 2 miles from London Luton Airport and 10 minutes from M1 J10. the feed bin was established in 1995 so has many years' experience in the pet supplies trade. Based from home addresses means clients are welcome to call out of traditional business hours to collect orders – up to 8.30pm seven days a week ~ by arrangement. Deliveries are not a problem as we have a large van.
The majority of products are supplied to order and stock items are limited. Therefore, PLEASE do contact us for stock / product information / prices as we do not wish for you to have a wasted journey.
About ‘ the feed bin ’

In the summer of 1995 the founder of the feed bin (Julie Fisher) began supplying local stables, farms, breeders and private individuals with all their animal feeds and bedding requirements. The name ' the feed bin' was thought up by Margaret, Julie's Mum (Q:Where do your store your animals feed?? A: the feed bi).
To promote the business Julie would spend every weekend at a show locally, and every day in between doing deliveries. Julie's Parents Margaret & Eddie would be answering the phone and taking orders

In 2000 a new van and trailer were purchased. Deliveries were now seven days a week, based on a two week rota to different areas of Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire.
Friday 13th December 2002 (not that we are superstitious) a road accident caused the van to be written off, and deliveries ceased. However customers now came to the Fisher family home to collect instead. the feed bin carried on.
the feed bin continued for many more years under the ownership of Julie, until a few years ago, when work commitments did not allow for Julie to continue running the feed bin anymore. Therefore The Feed Bin is now owned by Julie's husband Krishna, and run by him with the help of Margaret and Eddie. Julie is available to offer free informed and unbiased advice if needed. the feed bin is still very much a family run affair.
Over the years the business has diversified. the feed bin now sells clothing, and cocopeat products.
The plan for the immediate future is an online shop, and before the end of the decade... a pet shop in Wigmore - next to the chippy!!!???!!!
